Nationally Renown Artist-Illustrator C.F. Payne This Weekend


Documentary directed by magician Teller of Penn & Teller, follows Tim Jenison as he tries to understand and re-create the surprisingly realistic painting techniques used by Dutch Master Johannes Vermeer – 150 years before the invention of photography.
Q&A'S with C.F. Payne following the 7:30 pm screening this Friday night and
3:30 pm screening Sunday
Artist-illustrator C.F. Payne's artwork has graced the covers of Time Magazine, Readers Digest, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times Book Review and Sunday Magazine,MAD Magazine, der Spiegel, U.S. News and World Report, The Atlantic Monthly and more. He has been commissioned to paint countless politicians, authors and entertainers and has illustrated ten children’s picture books.

His artwork has been exhibited at The Cincinnati Art Museum, The National Portrait Gallery, The Norman Rockwell Museum, The Society of Illustrators Museum of American Illustration, The Selby Gallery at Ringling College of Art and Design and numerous college and university galleries.

  2. It's definitely worth a look...some very intriguing ideas regarding techniques that may or may not have been used 300+ years ago. At the very least, an interesting look at a very driven individual!
