Vector Victor

A piece I created today for a proposed T-shirt line. There was an attached smart-ass bit of text that went with this - but I don't think it measures up. Any suggestions?

Never Forget

This is one of the few unused sketches I created this summer while working on a book for Reader's Digest. I hope to post more from that project once it goes to press.

Hey Everyone,

I got a call today from one of my younger artists who informed me that he was going to have to quit our Tri-County Mall store location due to an illness in the family. So I am in search of a new artist to replace him before the holiday season. Its a great job for High School and College students. They will be using their artistic abilities everyday. They do not need airbrush experience as we will train. Those of you that teach and think they have some students they feel may be interested please pass on the info. Everyone else...if you have any daughters/sons or nieces and nephews please also pass on the info.

I am posting a flyer with all the info. You can access a full size image at
http://www.anythingairbrushed.com/hiringflyer.jpg
if you want to print out a copy to hang up.

It was good to see a lot of you today at Mr. Paynes exhibit. A lot of new faces for me so it was good to meet all of you.

Chris....the work looked awesome. I am sure everyone enjoyed themselves

Smart Seal

Here are some color variations of a seal character I created for a line of pool-coating products. This is pretty old stuff and it lies somewhere between illustration and logo design, but I thought I'd post it anyway while I'm waiting for some recent work to go public.

There's a bit more about the project on my blog.

Waiting Room Cartoon

With all the health care discussion going on these days, here is a cartoon I did for my friend Allen Freeman's comic SlamBang a couple years ago... I especially like the usage of the comic as a filtration device.

5 Drawer Flat Files For Sale

I have 2 sets of gray 5 drawer steel flat files with the base and 2 sets of white 5 drawer steel flat files with the base. Medium size Drawers 43 x 32 3/4. I’m asking $1,000 for each set.

New Mayline 5 drawer flat files go for $866.00 each 5 drawer file and the base $187 which would be a total of $1,919.

Announcement: C.F. Payne's Portrait Exhibition

There is an exhibition at the Cincinnati Art Museum from September 1st until January 10th of over 20 portraits by C.F. Payne called Famous Faces, Average Joes: The Work of C. F. Payne.

If anyone is interested, maybe we could stop by the exhibit after a downtown illustrators lunch to see it.
