Jim Effler will teach his approach to painting using photos manipulated in
Photoshop to follow classical principles such as establishing shadow and
light, match colors, block in areas of color, and more. Part of the
time you will be using Photoshop, but the majority of the time will be
painting, and the end product will be a painting.
Students
will need oil painting supplies and a canvas, specifics to come later.A
laptop with Photoshop is recommended, but arrangements can be made if
you do not have them. A digital camera is optional; printer and paper
will be provided.
