Urban Sketching Class with Jeb Brack and Robin Ewers Carnes

Article about the new Cincinnati Chapter in the International Urban Sketchers newsletter
We recently started an Urban Sketchers group in Cincinnati. It is a great way to get out and enjoy the architecture and landscape of the city.

Since some people that join us are interested in more instruction, we are excited that we have classes and workshops lined up.

Robin Ewers Carnes and Jeb Brack are teaching a Saturday class this summer at the Art Academy.

Introduction to Urban Sketching June 23rd - July 28th
Urban Sketching is an art movement that has swept the world in the last 10 years. Urban Sketchers gather together to sketch what they see in their city or in places they visit, posting the results online for all to see, and now you can join them! This class will help beginning sketchers learn about materials and techniques as we visit locations around Cincinnati to draw what we find. We'll cover topics like color and value, perspective, composition, and sketching people.
