This is a comic I did for a magazine called Fictionary, published out of Columbia College in Chicago. It's for an article about how many authors are finding their novels being published as young adult fiction, a la Harry Potter or Twilight. And this is my first, completed, post-Cincinnati Enquirer freelance piece.
Kevin-great job! and congrats on your first post-Enquirer freelance piece. Really great action and expression on this one. I can sure relate to that nail biting...
ReplyDeleteNicely told comic. I love the mercurial feel of the writer. You need to do a sequel where the author sends a manuscript in, waits six months, gets a list of revisions from the editor, He rewirghts for 4 months, resubmits and then 8 months later it is rejected anyway :)
ReplyDeleteYour productivity is doing nicely, if you can bash out this piece so quickly. I'm jealous!
ReplyDeleteLike the sweating and nail biting!
ReplyDeletecool Kevin...how do you get the zip-a-tone to stick to the screen :-)
ReplyDeleteHope to see lots more!
this is good.
