...then he would know that the XL-5 would NEVER launch as shown...had to have the launch track and retractable buildings :-) no doubt a miscue in art direction is to blame.
I never loved Wally more than when he did his work for the '50s Mad.
My first knowledge of the man himself was a very sad bio piece by Bhob Stewart from the 1980s Comics Journal. My first taste of fear about going into comics as a career...
