Join acclaimed cartoonist Carol Tyler for a book launch and signing of her new graphic memoir, Fab4 Mania! The evening will feature a reading, signing, and some Beatles tribute performances!
Told in the voice of its 13-year-old author, Fab4 Mania is an illustrated facsimile of the diary that Carol Tyler kept throughout 1965. It recreates the exhilaration and excitement of Beatlemania at its height, culminating in her trip to Chicago on August 20th to see the Beatles in concert.
The Chicago Tribune is calling Fab4 Mania "a remarkable act of cultural reporting" and "among this year’s best books."
The event is at 7pm, June 29th.

Introduction to Urban Sketching June 23rd - July 28th
Urban Sketching is an art movement that has swept the world in the last 10 years. Urban Sketchers gather together to sketch what they see in their city or in places they visit, posting the results online for all to see, and now you can join them! This class will help beginning sketchers learn about materials and techniques as we visit locations around Cincinnati to draw what we find. We'll cover topics like color and value, perspective, composition, and sketching people.
