Done for DVM Newsmagazine, the story is about a woman who calls Dr. Michael Obenski (Veterinarian and author of the column) and attempts to get him to agree that some of the services rendered by another vet were not of medically sound practice.
Thanks! The textures in my illos come from a large collection I've scanned in, shot or found over the years. I like to start with a textured 'canvas' when working digitally - it tends to look less digital when finished. The cat in this image sadly has not been seen in a couple months. Hope she's ok.
I love the street texture. Is it a filter? It gives a pleasing richness to the illustration.
ReplyDeleteThe subject is hilarious. Love the cat too... Full disclosure-I think any image is enhanced if a cat is in it :)
Ooo, you give good shadow, Ryan.
