Hey Folks, Just thought I would let y'all know that there is a picture and small interview of me in the Cincinnati Magazine City Guide that comes out in June. I couldn't find an online link so I scanned the article and uploaded it here.......David
Thanks for the support - the photo is from the macintosh lab that I teach in and I would be honored to have any of youl take my classes. If there were one class in particular that I think some of the illustrators would benefit from - it would be Animation 1 - where I teach all the basic principles of animation that was handed down to me by my mentor, Jim Coffin. Jim animated over 300 films. The course is also a basic boot camp for using Flash as an animation tool.
Tom, I really tried to make it to lunch but was on main campus to give a eulogy for a student that died this year. (Now don't you feel terrible) - that is actually true. Chuck, Believe me - no one would want any dating advice from me. I haven't been very successful with that in Cincinnati.
You even gave us a little plug, you like us you really like us! And taking your class doesn't sound like a bad idea at all. It will take me a while to save up some fund but learning flash and getting a refresher course on how animation is done this days sounds outstanding.
That's some great press David - I want to take your course!
ReplyDeleteThat is really cool Dave! Is the photo from your classroom?
