This is a test rendering; background illustration by Mark Riedy, 3d sign, neon tubing & animation by me...looks better bigger! Mark did a series of these designs for a museum and we're collaborating to take it to another stage.
I think it would behoove most of us to get more animation skills under our belt. I'm not the Amazing Kreskin, but I believe that there is going to be much more of a demand for motion graphics and imaging and less static illustration work.
I got a Fugs clip here somewhere I can plug in there...yeah shhh don't tell Dave about this stuff - child's play for him but I'm having fun! Thanks guys
John you are a master at perspective! Can't wait to see the response to Mark's "Brain Snack" on the Tampa Bay Historical project. This really shows art in an non-traditional way. John, WOW!!!!
That's really cool!

I've got basic Flash that I've used on 2-D, but with Hartz around, well, I don't mention my little, tiny animation skills.
ReplyDeleteBut this looks very fine. I wanted to hear music behind it.

ReplyDeleteVery cool! You did the neon tubing?
ReplyDeleteIt's a scary thought that we all need to learn animation. I'm still such a novice.
