Monsters of Slatt's

Man, my juices got going, which was cool, because I've gotta get into Monster Mode here shortly for some articles for TAG.

This is a quick sketch of a dragon inspired by a pic from a regular Facebook posting from the Zoo. Monitours are so cool. The blue one was the coolest. This is just a baby :P Still has its egg horn and everything. Judging from the bone, probably about 3 1/2' long.

Press: Article in Soapbox Media about Local Illustrators

Some of the illustrators covered are Darcy Voorhees, Ryan Ostrander (who did this excellent illustration for NKU and set up this blog), C.F. Payne, me and many others.

They even mention our blog in the article and the comics anthology many of us on the blog are involved in, 12-Way with Cheese.

Illustrators' Lunch Annual Christmas Party

Yes, it is that time of year again! The Annual Christmas Party will be 6 PM December 20th (a Sunday) at Slatt's. We have a white elephant gift exchange, sketch exchange, and everyone shows off the work they have done during the year.

Please RSVP to Christina Wald by December 14th so I can give the restaurant a head's up!

Hope to see you all there and thanks to Brian Hagen for the fabulous cartoon on the flyer.

Karmic Anthology: No Payne, No Gain

Here's the infamous Birthday greeting for Chris's 50th. (thanks, Tim, for bringing up the subject) You can click on each page to get a bigger picture.
There's even a guide at the bottom to tell you who drew what.
Wow, I'm pretty sure all these guys are still alive —and employed.
:-)
