T-Shirt Design for my Aunt's Birthday

This is a little less playful than Chucks, but I had fun with the ink drawing.

My aunt wanted an Asian theme printed on red. The animals on the back represent the Chinese astrological signs of each of her 5 daughters.

I tried to keep it as simple as possible...

  1. Looks great. Though I have to wonder if the Chinese character you used actually means "toilet" or something similar.

  2. It came out great, Christina!
I love the fish, and the chow is a creative choice for the dog.

  3. I'm confused too, Bearman. It looks like the Chinese character for "goat", but I don't see any goats on the shirt. Did Rosie just turn 70?

  4. She turned 80 but did not want her age on the shirt. Yes, she was born in year of the Goat, but did not have time to draw one.

    Thanks guys :)

  5. A goat would have been too much. I like what you have.
I also thought she may be a Pisces (2 fish) —but not in August.

  7. Terrific! Love the line style and solid color - very different from what we usually see from you but just as nice...
