Joe Slucher's Review of Lazy Nezumi Photoshop Plug In

I have had a friend suggest this plugin in the past. Joe Slucher's review might push me to actually download it.

If you do linework in Photoshop, it may be a must have!

Amy Bogard and Christina Wald can often be seen around town sketching city sites, and we don't slow down during the busy holiday season.  Yesterday we visited the lovely Krohn Conservatory to sketch their holiday display.  It is beautiful, filled with Cincinnati icons made out of natural materials. We found out later from Chuck Rekow that the display was done by Applied Imagination.

we were fortunate to find a bench to settle into
christina wald sketches

When not out sketching, we both work on our own projects.  Amy's character, Ginger Small, really enjoys readying for the holidays.

And Christina created this Stagfox to grace her holiday cards.

Wishing all of you and yours a wonderful and restful holiday and a Happy New Year!

Don't Forget! This Sunday is the Illustrators Christmas Party!

Christmas Party is Sunday, December 14th at 6 PM at Slatt's.

RSVP by Friday, December 12th!

Party FAQ

1. Even if you cannot make it to the weekly lunch, the party is a good way to see everyone who cannot make it regularly.

2. After dinner, they let us take over the room and everyone brings artwork to set up and show off on the tables if they want to after they are cleared.

3. There is no advance fee and everyone gets separate checks. Slatt's is very accommodating. You can get dinner or just a drink.

Hope to see you there!

Illustrations for "Bubbles" audio drama

After submitting the original illustration for "Bubbles" -- a science fiction audio drama that will premiere January 5 on Earbud Theater -- I was asked by the author to do an alternate version featuring the titular time bubbles in the story.

As you can see in my original sketch, I had envisioned using the time bubbles, but the further I rendered the first piece, the more I realized the time bubbles would just clutter things up. For the revised version, I decided to put all the elements into various time bubbles, and have them floating along in a quantum foam.
