Kickstarter Cat Calendar by Gabe
Hey everyone,
I know it's been forever since I've been to lunches, but I do still draw a bit.
I just wanted to share a Kickstarter campaign I just launched.
The intro is a fun little animation that I made as well.

I just finished my yearly caricature of graduating fellows from Cincinnati Sportsmedicine and Orthopoedic Center. What a fun group to paint.
Thanks for looking!

Cincinnati Art Club Art Sale
Tom Post and a bunch of other artists are having a Holiday Sale at Wessel Gallery December 15th and 16th 12 to 5 PM.
It is a great way to support local artists and buy a gift for that favorite relative and or friend!
Cincinnati Art Club 1021 Parkside Place in Mount Adams.
Also stop by Broadhope Art Collective in downtown Cheviot. They also have a lot of gifts and art by Gabe Utasi and many others.

Broadhope Art Collective
A group of artists is starting a collective in downtown Cheviot (including Gabe Utasi). They just put up their fundraising page so I thought I would link it here. It is a great idea for Cheviot.
Check out their Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/BroadhopeArtCollective

Night two with the Tablet
Adding more details and playing with some color. I need to add a bunch more of those little sloth looking monkey babies.I thought I'd try a different composition than normal. I'm thinking a mural shape. I like playing cards, I like the outdoors and animals so why not combine them all. This drawing tablet is going to cause me to lose a lot of sleep, hard-drive space but hopefully open up new doors for freelance, as it should cut down on expenses of shipping, sketching materials and time spent transferring sketches to boards, prepping and scanning.. Whew.

Just got a Drawing Tablet for home

I've used them at work for years, but finally couldn't deal with a mouse anymore at home. This makes sketches look oily pastely for sure. Just a quick first one, but we'll see if I make the transition to mostly digital like Ryan. I don't know what to do with the boxes upon boxes of editorial illustrations in my closets anyway. Later!
