Dr. Sketchy's Halloween

Here are some selections from Dr. Sketchy's, October edition :P The latter half was more inspiring than the first, but it was all pretty sweet :)

Chalk Martian

After a long hiatus, I've finally added another drawing to my Chalk Art Blog.

Hopefully, I'll have some commercial illustration to post real soon.

Hi Everybody-
I've gotten interested in the area of art licensing, so I'm starting to learn what all that entails. This is an experiment using one of a series of silly birds that I've been drawing. I wanted to see what I could do with it in some sort of pattern. Just playing, but would like to hear critiques-I know there are imperfections in the corners-I haven't learned all the techniques yet. Also, have any of you worked in this area? Know anyone who is?

Dr. Sketchy's January

Great session at Dr. Sketchy's tonight! The cold war/Russian theme was really fun to draw. There was a Frazetta-like feel to a lot of the poses.

The next one is in March with a Goth theme.

I hope some of the others illustrators there will post their images. The same with the comic. Show some work!

Chalk Dog

I still have a lot of studio work in non-disclosure limbo. Since I usually retain all the rights to my driveway art, I'll share this weekend's piece.

You can see a straight-on view at the chalk-o-holic blog.

A Bird in the Drive

I've got some commercial work brewing in the studio, but nothing I can show right now. In the meantime, I thought I'd post a pic from my "chalk-o-holic" blog here for you to enjoy.

Just having fun in the driveway with the kids.
