This is a mini comic I did for a friend's comic anthology called Slam Bang. The theme is robots and I could not resist the topic. I do these to relax when I am doing a LOT of painting. It is like a palette cleanser.
I also love bizarre sci-fi robot speak.
The small press comic show SPACE is in a couple weeks and I hope to make it up there for a day.
Love Rosie making a cameo
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Christina! :) Can't wait to see the published version :)
ReplyDeleteLove this stuff Christina - do you know Dave Groff at CCAD? Big robot fan also. I was unashamedly impressed that they have a full-sized Dalek on display in the broadcast area of the British Museum...
ReplyDeleteI looooove this! I love your Chairbot--he's perfect!
ReplyDeletelooks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments everyone. John, the name sounds familar but I am not sure I have met him.
ReplyDeleteI was at the British Museum years ago but did not see the Dalek. It was in 1991 though, maybe we missed that part or it was not there yet. I am really looking forward to the Doctor Who episode written by Neil Gaiman coming up next season.
Great job Christina. Alan should be thrilled!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Comics have 50% less agonizing for me that paintings (which I am working around the clock on now).
ReplyDeleteI too wish there was more room for them in my life.
