Habitat Spy Trailer

I finally finished the trailer for Habitat Spy. I feel like I am getting the hang of Adobe Premiere Elements. Since it is not pro software, the editing is a little inelegant and a little like using mallets. Maybe it is not the software's fault...

I love this tune used as the track I bought from a royalty free site. It gets stuck in your head.

  1. This looks great Christina. You have made good use of the editing choices that are available. The binoculars zooming in to various parts of the US and revealing the animal/geographic environment is inspired.

    The music works great too.

  3. Thanks! I enjoy doing them but am on the edge about getting better software.

I was just looking at this year's Caldecott winner trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqB-Jue1oeA

  5. It's wonderful! I need to learn how to do this and have been putting it off for some time, but your post doesn't make it seem very easy.

  6. It is not a difficult as you imagine. I hear that imovie is really good for this. It depends on what you want to do too.

  7. I think this is really effective, Christina. Good choice of music, and there's nothing wrong with taking a handful of simple motion tricks and geting the most out of them.
I'm really impressed that you've gone the extra mile to promote your projects this way. Inspired actually!
