Happy Easter!

I've been trying to sharpen my competence with vector-based art. This Easter greeting was created start-to-finish in Illustrator —something I rarely do.

Not ready to throw out my pencils though.

Happy Easter everyone!

'Tis the season for giving... and also for saying thank you for a great year.

The University of Cincinnati Athletic Department came to us at Flaming Medusa Studios because they needed an animated holiday card that would both thank their donors and also give them the opportunity to include UC Athletics in their holiday giving. So we made this! We got to animate their old mascots too- this was a pretty cool project. I also got to do some actionscripting!

You can watch the card here: http://www.animatedcincinnati.com/UC/happyholidays.html

Happy Holidays Everyone!

This is my card for this year. I hope some others post theirs...

I also have my latest Pop Smoothie comic: a very, super special spectacular, spectacular pop smoothie epic holiday special
So stop by and say hi!

And thanks everyone who came to the Christmas Party. It was a great time and I will post pictures here soon. In the meantime, here are some of Jerry's pictures: http://www.kenstewartphoto.net/dowling_drivel_blog/?p=1335

Breaking the Ice: Holiday/Christmas Cards

Hopefully this will encourage others to post their cards. *hint*

I was really short on time this year so did this quickie ink drawing I colored in Photoshop. Next year, I hope to do something more elaborate...

I am painting a lot of animals in snow right now, so Arctic foxes were on the brain (although I was painting wolves when I did this).

Holiday Cards 2010

These are the holiday cards I created this year. I'm not above offing Frosty. :)

Have a wonderful New Year, everyone!
