Al Williamson was an amazing artist who illustrated comics like Star Wars, Flash Gordon, and many others.

  1. Thanks for the link to his work Christina. I'm a great admirer of Mark Schultz, and the Williamson influence on Mark's work is pretty clear when you look at these.

  2. You can tell a great artist when his work so drastically changes and adapts with time. His work was always really nice, but it's inspiring to know that true craftsman, even if they pass, still provide us with amazing work. Thanks for sharing, Christina. A true loss, but 79? That's pretty good. He lived a long time.
